Have you ever considered doing a kitchen cabinet makeover?  Many times a simple thing like changing out the type of wood or style of cabinet doors and drawers can make a huge difference in the appearance of your kitchen.  If you have painted wood doors and aren’t sure what type of wood might be hidden underneath take a small pen knife and scrape away the paint on the back of a door or kitchen draw to see what lurks under those layers of paint.  Changing out kitchen cabinet drawers and door fronts doesn’t have to be a complicated wood working project, often times its as simple as striping off the old finish, giving them a quick sanding and applying a new coat of stain.  A kitchen makeoverdoesnt have to stop or start with just adding new cabinets it can be as elaborate as you like.  Perhaps a new hardwood floor or installing new tyle and a fresh coat of paint.  Any of these types of projects can be done in the coarse of a weekend or two and dont require a ton of experience to accomplish.
